My wife Debbie and I started our pet-friendly vacation rental business in 2003 thanks to Alfred and Emily Glossbrenner. We were originally going to hire a rental management company to manage our property for us, but as an after thought we decided to purchase the Glossbrenners' book, How to Make Your Vacation Property Work for You! - and it change our life. So impressed were we that we called them for more one-on-one advice, and some copy editing. We implemented all of their suggestions and now operate a very successful pet-friendly rental business in Destin Florida called Easy Street Pet Friendly Vacation Rentals. We have grown from one house in 2003 to 15 today, and plan to grow to 25 homes within the next 24 months. Of the 15 homes, Debbie and I own 6 and manage 9 others for out-of-state owners.
