| Originally, I began renting out my home using a real estate company which did not do well at all for me. I moved to another company who did pretty good but we ran into some problems. I have been in advertising and marketing all my life and felt that I could do what they were doing - possibly better. This past year, I took over my own advertising and marketing and have been totally sold out 6 months or more in advance. The original real estate came back to me and offered me a job to come to work for them handling all of their rentals - which they have had a problem with. I enrolled myself in real estate school in order to know and understando all ends of the process plus be able to be paid on commission. We have been being bombarded with new vacation rentals because of what I have been doing. I have learned a lot by studing everything that I can using websites, newsletters and publications. Also, this website has a lot of great educational material that hopefully can continue to make me a better residential rental marketing person. |

| Words of Wisdom for VR Owners |
Never believe that you know what is best because you do not. What you need to do is treat your renters as if they are a guests in your home, not a paying business arrangement. If you bend over backwards and treat them exactly the way you would want to be treated they will want to come back - and if they are a good renter, they will want to come back. |

| Other passions, interests and pursuits of mine are scuba diving and racing cars. I actually moved to the Palm Beaches because I was saving up every year to come here for a scuba diving vacation. Eventually, I decided that I could save money by moving here. Juno Beach is Paradise. |
